My camera wasn't on the right mode, so the outside pic is crappy, but you get the gist of our Halloween effects

If you're wondering where Crew is.....he wanted nothing to do with a costume or trick or treating.....I believe that's him in the above pic.....crying
why fight it.......
We are now living with our very own Frankenstein.
Saturday, when Paul and I went out, the kids were playing tag in the house.
And, of course, Clay ran into the wall!
It took 3 guys to hold him down and a lot of screaming to put 7 staples in his head....
Traumatized much?!
When Paul and Clay were walking out, Clay thanked the doctor...well he kindof grunted a thank you, and the doc almost passed out
It took him 2 days to smile about it and let me take the picture.  Gross huh?

I love/dread hearing what the boys are doing, because
a)then I realize how much I miss you guys, &
b) I realize what I'm going to have to go through in a few years...

POOR CLAY! It's cracking me up that him getting staples is so routine, that he finds it appropriate to 'thank' the doctor!

How impressed are we @ your halloween decorations! Was that in the front of your house?

My 2 initial thoughts...
Didn't you tell him that it was too late to change Halloween costumes for this year? and hopefully Sara wasn't babysitting at the time.
But sounds like everything is normal at your house, just like mine. Glad to hear he's okay. and I don't blame Crew...seeing scary things like those other boys in his own home, why would he want to go out?? But Cute anyway!!

Crew sounds like he runs the house as much as Blayke does!! LOL
Way to go Clay! That's awesome!! Look how cool you are with those staples!

OOOOOOOOOOOOH! Staples in the head! That's gotta suck! Ouch! Poor dude!

Love the 'ween costumes! I'm gonna lighten the top one and email it to ya!

Courtney ran into a wall in the same exact spot...and got 5 staples when she was younger. Guy, can heads bleed alot or what? I don't do blood, so Kevin took her...it also took 3 people to hold her down (2 years old). Gettin them out was equally traumatic for her...but Clay looks tough enough to take it! Now he'll never be able to be a skinhead...darn your hopes and dreams down the drain :) !

Ouch!! I just have to echo Kara's sentiments~~I am soooo glad Sara wasn't babysitting that night. That is one phone call I NEVER want to receive~~if, of course, she didn't pass out before she made the call. :)

What is the deal with you & Kara having gruesome pictures of injuries lately? Must be life with boys!! Easton still has a scar on his head where his hair won't grow back from when he was 2 - we call it the "Harry Potter scar". Your house looks awesome - you guys must be the cool family in the neighborhood that every kid begs their parents to take them to!!

Gross Clay! Merissa & Malleri think you look tough!

Looks like you guys invested in some serious spook decor & great costumes all around! We are requesting Paul in his Chewbacca suit please...

Thanks again for the fantastic birthday gift!

So, I just gathered all the little maniac children around me and clicked on the pic to make it way big and zoomed in...I then proceeded to say,
"When I tell you to stop playing tag in the house, cuz your gonna get hurt...this is what I mean!" Thanks for making me honest! My kids never believe they can actually get hurt.

Good move on my part to use your move as a teaching tool.
Bad move cuz now I can't type and they all think we are all bloggn' together. NO thank you.
