We had a birthday party for both Clay and Cade on Saturday
Since it's not pictured, Cade wanted me to put in an honorable mention of the "monkey cake" that his sweet Aunt Tammy made for the 'Sunday Celebration' at my mom's..... :)
he thought it was the coolest!!

I should've known this is what was going through Paul's mind when he brought home the painter's plastic!  A slip-n-slide....DUH....of course why didn't I think of that?!

Happy Birthday Boys!! What a great idea with the painters plastic! After Aiden's party, I was picking water balloon pieces up for a week! Again, we are all inspired by Paul's genius!

Happy Birthday to Clay today!! Happy Birthday to Cade on Wed!! Thanks for the awesome party! Tell Paul I want a slip and slide for my party! LOL

Lovin the slip n' slide...it reminds me of all the clasps, rope, and what not, JD brought home one day to make a zip line in our backyard. Painters plastic is much more practical for some speed in a backyard and way more refreshing! Good Boy, Paul!

That is one awesome Star Wars cake - my boys (& my bro-in-law) would be jealous! I love reading your blog - your posts always crack me up & how great are the Will Farrell sidebar videos?!

OK, so the first thing I noticed was the StarWars cake! Oh, I had the same summer you had...Lego Star Wars AND Lego Indiana Jones! Hours upon hours of it! I thought I was a bad mom letting Connor play all the time, but I only had 1 kid doin' it...you had 4! Ha-you're worse!! :) JK! Looks like a good time was had by all at the party! How come Copper didn't go on the slip-n-slide? What a name...since Paul didn't get his weiner dog, you should've named him 'weeney'! Isn't that the dogs name on Oswald (cartoon)? Later!

i might have to copy that cake idea for Chad"s bday next week! So Martha of you ;)

Thank you for posting crew in his speedo life vest! Was he really in danger of drowning in the inch of water on the plastic? Safety First! (i know, you do have a pool)

Loving your header photo too! Paul, if the AC business ever slows down, you could work as an Abercrombie model fo'sure!
